About Ken Toftoy

When Ken was elected Kendall County Coroner in 1992 he listed the following as goals he would like to improve and/or change as Coroner:

Improve Communication
- County Board
- Police / Fire Departments
- Schools
- Community Groups
Establish a Teaching Relationship
- Middle & High Schools
- Police & Fire Departments
- Civil Service Groups
Work Closely with School Officials and Human Services
- Substance Abuse
- Teen Suicide
- Prom Night Programs
Create a Professional Attitude for the Office
- Provide county taxpayers access to a phone number listed under county offices in the telephone book
- Establish a small office with an 'open door' policy to provide family follow-up
- Attend conference/continuing education to update professional knowledge and skills
- Attend meetings held by other coroners
- Comply with continuing education requirements
Improve Response Time
- Establish Deputy Coroners in various parts of the county

These are all goals which Ken has reached and continues to maintain.

Ken has a sincere dedication to serving the people of Kendall County as Coroner.
